Midcentury burl coffee table, 1970s.
Beautiful and elegant large coffee table in bookmatched burl veneer. Great proportions and a very timeless design. Very similar to works by Milo Baughman - in fact it could well be a Baughman table. Quality table, with very thick and chic burl walnut veneer which is bookmatched. Sheets of burl veneer are laid in a manner so that one sheet is the mirror image of the opposing sheets. Great details like the thick and rich veneer, the slightly bevelled edges and the shape of the inner corner of the feet. A wonderful and rare large coffee table.
Great vintage condition with a few spots and scratches - overall the table is in a very good shape.
