Renato Vanzelli Hand Hammered and Enameled Bowl 1960s
Hand hammered and enameled bowl by Renato Vanzelli, 1960s, Italy.
This is one of the most beautiful bowls we've ever seen. A true jewel for your interior. This beautiful bowl by Renato Vanzelli (1932-1993) from Padova (Padua) in Italy is very special in appearance, execution and detailing. This piece is on the same level as the work of, for example, Paolo de Poli. Very high quality.
The shell is hand hammered on the outside and therefore has a beautiful tactile surface. The light hitting this bowl gives it a beautiful three-dimensional effect. The inside of the bowl is even more beautiful if possible. The inside is enamelled in red and orange tones. A true universe in which you can lose yourself. Very immersive and beautiful. The edge is beautifully subtle and the rim is made ultra-thin, like an eggshell. Interestingly, the bowl is completely round at the bottom. This bowl is in beautiful vintage condition, with occasional very minor damage to the enamel on the edge. Beautifully preserved.
Signed at the underside 'R. Vanzelli, Padova'.
